The varieties of misconduct are as various as the people who commit them. In addition to the ones that are described in this site, there are conflicts of interest, misappropriation of funds or securities, and others.

Generally, if you think something might be fishy, it is worth speaking to a lawyer with experience in representing investors to see whether you may have a claim.
